Caught You Blogging

So between Deadwood Season 1 coming to a swift end, Deadwood Season 2 starting up in mid/late July, and the very real possibility that Season 2 will be my last season in Television--I'm feeling like a guest star in my own life.
Do I stay or do I go? I want to stay on Deadwood only because I believe in the show and I like most of the people. The actual being an "Assistant Editor" isn't anything special. Hasn't been since about Dark Angel. And I'm uncertain being an Editor would fix that.
I may just do one more season. Penultimate. Perineum. Buy house in desert, and by this time next year, off we go.
I'm equally worried about how to turn a dime (or a dollar) in any other profession. I'm very used to my current income, which won't make me a millionair, but has granted me a certain comfort level I've grown u$ed to.
However, PrivacyHound is ready to go. Or stay.
